優點:
我是新手來,初頭是用35-1.8DX鏡配我的D90黎影我的仔仔，之後再係網上面睇過好多討論都話NIKON17-55DX鏡影人和影風景都好正後，以後睇左好多師兄影既相，我就在昨天忍唔住咁就買左這枝鏡,今天拿黎在公園拍我既BB，發覺這枝鏡實在冇買錯，銳利、對焦快、色靚，實在太正了
缺點:
有時在好正的地方,會聽對對焦時有好細既對焦摩打聲音,其他就暫時沒有

因為我本人不打算上FF的，所以我才買下這枝鏡，如果我諗住上FF，我就會考慮買24-70哥枝了，HOHO，推薦唔打算上FF既各位機友購買這枝DX鏡王，買了後真係不會後悔
優點:
1. 鏡度適中，可遠可近，天涯鏡一支，旅行者良伴。
2. 物超所值。
3. 於夜景拍攝非常出色。

缺點:
雖然略微重了一些、可接受。
評價:
用了約10日，配D90應用，所拍出來之相片質數非常好，恰到好處。

入手2個星期感覺良好 .. 我用左9450買左佢番黎

我買左兩日架咋,,,因為之前用開18-200，同定焦，可以分析少少野
因為18-200係出名方便.但我覺得除左去旅行用得上18-200呢個焦距外，17-55冇一樣野輸比18-200lor，不過始終光圈唔同，靚d就一定，但如果range太大亦同樣有缺點姐。
同定焦鏡比，呢支可變焦得黎，一樣係恆定光圈，而且色彩不失於85-1.8既色彩，真係好正!!!!

究竟係唔係d人嫌貴冇錢買而彈呢知鏡就不得而知，我只係覺得用得呢支鏡既人，肯使得11080(30/7/09 citicall價)呢個價買，唔考慮就用足一皮野買支自己踩到爆既鏡咩? 我質疑﹗ 但係每支鏡都一定有佢既好壞，如果焦距岩用，價錢又負擔到既,我的確覺得呢支絕對係一支好鏡!!!!

之前好多師兄都講過支鏡既好處, 吾用過真係吾知佢有幾好. 小弟有過 A16, 其實真係好鏡一支. 一次機緣巧合下買左呢支17-55, 套上機一試, 第一個反應係"嘩! 好正" 同我支 AIS 105 一樣正, 全開銳利度更吾使講, 比 A16 貴咁多都係值既. 光位喑位都好細膩, 不愧DX鏡王. 到近期購入16-85, 係SHARP D, 好接近17-55. 但自己相比下覺得17-55出來係正DD, 利中帶柔, 色彩亮麗. 可惜小弟不才, 毅然放棄鏡王+D2X而選擇一機鏡走天崖換取技術, 只望技術升華後再一次擁有它!
優點:

缺點:
- too long to be put in the camera bag with hood on (8 inches long)
- the Zooming ring was stiff when new, and even stiffer when aged!
- not a perfect match with my D90 due to focusing issues
- soft at wide end, and some visible distortion

要sharp鏡的朋友請買prime, 這鏡不是最佳選擇.
以wide end 影景或architecture 也不應選這鏡, 因distortion 令遠近距離感失真.
向著太陽會見到好大粒七彩stray light, although most lenses do, but...really 好大粒
用久了zoom ring 好緊, 到35mm會微微'卡一卡'

可影出夢一般bokeh
2.8同5.6 picture quality 差別唔大, so there really no need to stop down in most occasions.
在低光下色彩也能保留! this is impressive! also it is one of the charateristics of a fast lens.

about the D90 match with this lens: there is a slight field curvature, which is while the centre is sharp but the boarder is out of focus, I have to turn the focus ring slightly to adjust for optimum result. havn't seen this problem with other models of cameras, or is this becos of variation between production?
