Canon機的色彩柔和自然，但呢支鏡令色水變得淡而無味死死實實

怪不得二手承接力低更暴跌於2k樓下
加上既生瑜何生亮
龍仔A16和馬仔支18-50有marco兩支都打瓜佢
不得不被人漸漸淘汰
也不希望Canon再無誠意地將呢支鏡放進Kit set中去賣

缺點:
1. (yes, there's two one's) when IS is on and off, it makes this sound, pretty annoying

a GREAT travel lens! must bring along with 10-22 and sigma 30.4
IS is amazing. (but the sound it makes is pretty annoying in quiet environment)
barrel distortion is expected, give the lens a break will you?

優點:
(1) The range is extremely useful. 17mm for view. 85mm for human head or upper body photos taking.
(2) The structure is very solid.
(3) IS is really useful. I tried to turn off the IS to take a photos, and then turn on the IS to take a same view photos. The different is pretty obvious.
(4) Good looking for puting in 450D.
(5) Have IS and USM at the same time. It is difficult to have both in non-L lens. Therefore, it is very good to have two both at the same time.

I have just bought it, and put it on my new 450D. It make the 450D more good looking. Before, I bought it, I really did not have confidence about it, because it have no ED element, I was afraid the sharpness being compromised. After I used it, I found it have no obvious different with Canon 17-55 which I bought in 2006 with Canon 40D. The quality of picture is really out of my expection. The mark I must give it is five Star. Therefore, I do not know why people always say it not good enough, specially, it's sharpness. It is really good, so I must defence for it. Try it before you wonder it's quality.

成像又唔係D人講到咁差..

都好過18-55 Mark 2..
聞相之人可將光圈收到f/8..
焦距極之方便..
去旅行唔洗換鏡..
USM對焦快同準..
IS效果明顯..
小弟係手震之人..
但開左IS淨手持下..
17MM去到0.3s都無問題..
有對焦尺..手動對焦時方便好多..
裝上400D好平衡..
成像又唔係D人講到咁差..
銳利度..色彩..層次等..
都好過18-55 Mark 2..
聞相之人可將光圈收到f/8..

而因此鏡既二手價極之便宜..
二千有找..最平一千六都見過..
所以便升級到此鏡了..
總覺得這支鏡是18-55 Mark 2既整體升級版..
若預算不多又希望得到一支比18-55 Mark 2更好的鏡..
小弟誠意推薦此鏡..
發覺55根本不夠用..
而因此鏡既二手價極之便宜..
二千有找..最平一千六都見過..
所以便升級到此鏡了..
總覺得這支鏡是18-55 Mark 2既整體升級版..
