同一系統的另一支長焦鏡70-300是1系除32mm f/1.2外的另一支鏡皇，相對焦距達200-800mm使用起來一定非常的爽，而且比例上比其他系統更為細小，使用起來比地球上所有其他超遠攝鏡頭更為方便。
但一支相對焦距介於70-300的普通長焦鏡，才是一般最常用的焦距，一般旅行拍攝人文風景已經極為足夠，質素也高，日常帶著一部V3、6.7-13mm加上此鏡也可記錄很多的大小事，細小的體積拍攝也可以不動聲色，若再帶上10-30mm及18.5mm f/1.8旅遊也完全沒有任何的負擔

30-110mm lens is the type of lens you either like it or hate it. Telephoto range is not a daily photography range for most users. As such it generally serves as a second lens for the N1 users.
The Nikon 30-110mm ƒ/3.8-5.6 produced some astonishing results for sharpness, and seems to be optimized for wide-open use. At 30mm its aperture starts at 3.8 and remains constant up till 40mm. The aperture then fall 1/3EV to F4.5 at 60mm and another -1/3EV at 80mm. F value then stabilize at from 80mm onward and drop very slightly toward F5.6 at 110mm.
Such arrangement of aperture makes the lens particularly useful at wide open under low-light condition (especially at 40mm) and still equally useful at tele-end when compared to its counterparts from other manufacturers.
Those who want benefits of telezoom range but not using it often may consider the N1 10-100mm PD lens. However, its image quality is poor and has steep aperture drop when compare to this standalone tele-photo zoom.
Just like you cannot have a cake and eat it, choosing between 30-110mm and 10-100mm lens may be challenging for some. Yet, I would recommend having 30-110mm lens over 10-100mm lens due to price difference and better IQ it could offer.
