-Feels very light. Only 20g lighter than my 50/1.4 in spec but feel much lighter than that.
-Resolution wise is okay at center. Seems to be similar to my Tamron 28-75 in the center but better in the cornor. Resolution chart results from the-digital-picture.com seem to also indicate that this lens has better corner performance than Canon 17-40, 24-70 or 24-105.
-Slight CA when wide open.
-Distortion is quite good IMO. Much better than Tamron 28-75 @ 28mm, which lens should already be performing fairly good in this area.
-Vignetting is on par with my Tamron at 28mm.
-You are probably not buying this lens for bokeh but if it matters bokeh seems to be good.
-Contrast is fair.
-I have not noticed flare problem.
-Focuses fairly quick and accurately. I think close to 50/1.4.
-Minimum focusing distance is short @ 25 cm.
-Filter thread is 58 mm so filters would not be very expensive.
