優點:
1) the screen is HUGE, is good for movies and pictures, and of course, with BRAVIA engine added in, the resolution is SUPER GOOD (: loving the screen. But because it is so big, it is quite difficult to handle and manage with one hand (I'm a girl, my hands are kind of small).
*after I got use to it I was absolutely in love.
2) light weight. compared to the other phones which screens are over 4", Arc has definitely got the upper hand in weight, being 117 grams, it is easy to hold, and won't easily tire muscles.
3) high resolution camera. I also own a DSLR, but I find it seemingly inconvenient when it comes to travelling and bringing it around for a long time. So, as it has a high resolution camera, it saves me energy and time.
The camera is also very fast at focusing. Although I find the camera button somewhat small, it is very handy indeed.
4) the human ergonomics of it. At first, I looked at a commercial and found the arc a waste of investment. Later when I finally had the chance to hold and feel the phone, the thought was immediately thrown away.
It is so easy to hold that if I lay my hand flat, almost at 70-80 degrees and place my phone on my palm, it will NOT fall off. This is different to my previous phone (ifonethreegs) where the hand constantly slipped off my hand and caused me problems
5) the speed of the system. I know I shouldn't compare a single cored phone to a duo cored one, but I'm going to compare it to GSi900. Although my phone was single cored, it's speed was not in anyway doubled by the GSi900. the system runs smoothly and doesn't lag unless you open 10 very consuming applications at once.
6) the beauty of the phone. This is incomparable to all the other phones. It is so sleek and slim, almost can be described as "sexy" I believe that anyone would understand
7) the speaker system. it is loud when it wants to be. after installing the xLOUD upgrade, I can play my music in the shower and still hear it.
8) HDMI output
9) the battery has1500mA, more than a lot of other phones
10) the pc connection is very easy to use, and not as restricting as syncing with itoons

缺點:
1) the pricing. It is almost as expensive as some duo core phones. However good the phone may be, the price could drop just a tiny bit
2) the battery. The applications use up a lot of battery, if I play too many games in one day, I have to change the battery at least once... let alone charging it everyday (I think this happens in most smart phones)
3) no front facing camera. Although the rear end camera is absolutely spectacular, it lacks a front.
4) the startup/bootup time. It needs over a minute to turn itself on and have the applications fully functioning. (this does not cause a problem for me, because I have a laid back lifestyle, but for people in a hurry this may be one.)
compared to HTC Sen. which starts up in like 10 seconds, this really is a disadvantage.

Firstly comparing to my previous (ifone3gs) the interface is so much better. the battery life is similar. The screen is bigger and clear. it is better to hold and feels perfect in the hand.
Of course the OS is totally different:
In my opinion iOS is easy to pick up and control, but has a lot of restrictions.
Whereas in the Android systems, it takes a while to really get use to, but if you can make it perform at its true potential, iOS is NOTHING compared to it.
The arc is truly a unique, beautiful product by Sony Ericsson. Xperia has a lot of good widgets ie. timescape.
I really think that in this competitive market, ARC has truly earned its place.
It is really easy to pick up, but almost impossible to put down.
The accessories are nice, and the interface is user friendly.
Although there are many improvements to be made (battery life, startup time, cameras, memory) Sony Ericsson has created an amazing product.
I highly recommend this phone.

個操作系統極多bug, 好明顯既bug, 多到你唔信, 只係一味追求介面靚, 但其實內裏係根本就係粗製濫造, 電池用量既介面甚至仲顯示住\\\"battery_history_hour: target:13\\\", 唔知想點, 好似未完成既system咁, 令人懷疑到底sony ericsson到底有冇QA!! 一個半完成品都夠胆拎出來賣....今時今日仲有咁既system真係令人o 晒嘴.
