Picked one day before the Grosses Gewähchs – ie the shrivelled grapes from the GG parcel so that the alcohol on the GG was not excessive. RS 163 g/l, TA 14.2 g/l.
Glorious aroma, smoky, grapefruit, confit lemon and lime. It smells as if you could be intoxicated just by the smell. Peaches and cream, then back to grapefruit. On the palate it has incredible purity and intensity. Honey made from lemons. Lemon curd but so fresh and mouth-watering. Stunning intensity and perfect balance.
