優點:
(1) Small size and light weight: can either hang on neck / shoulder or carry in a small bag around the belt, surely no problem fitting into a pocket
(2) Professional camera body material (like a DSLR): comes with rubber grip and no plastic feel-like body like any M4/3 camera
(3) Professional control (like a DSLR): switch modes easily with 3 self-setting modes
(4) 10x zoom with reasonable F: a simple example, I can taken good quality photo at a building far away or at some detail parts of that building, both while standing at the same spot
(5) Good ISO and anti-handshake - picture quality acceptable with Auto ISO at night while shooting in both country side and in city, with 10X zoom with NO tripod
(6) Extra EVF very good quality and helped a lot while shooting as compared with only LCD
(7) Control and handle almost like a DSLR
(8) "Display" button used as a short cut to control photos - EXCELLENT! And 2 extra roller-type buttons for more controls!
(9) LC-2 self-opening lens cover: only one among all camera this size (once you have used this, you cannot switch back, 100% point-and-shoot possible); I have even attached one for my D-LUX4
(10) Can use light weight tripod: Prefect for traveling
(11) Build in flash with adjustable output level: no more ugly white faces even when using flash!!
(12) Unique - nothing like this in the market, use like and feel like a PRO (Apart from me, I have only seen one Japanese person using the same camera all these time in Japan and HK, and he uses it to take professional product shots in studio)
缺點:
(1) Not so good when shooting people in close range: almost no self detection (not a big problem to me because I seldom use this function before in other cameras) - if you are upgrading from DC to this range, go for Olympus / GF1, they are more user-friendly for beginners, those iA mode is almost good enough for shooting most snap-shots
(2) A lot of noise while focusing with slow speed when zoomed: I am talking about sound not statics in pictures; Ricoh really needs to work on their gears!
(3) A12 Lens is really expensive: a necessary item to buy when using for long term, cost over $5000 (still not bad because 20mm for GF1 is around $4000 anyway)
(4) Options on lens is LIMITED: Limited is not enough to describe, there is only 3 lens available if you don't count those attachment on lens
評價:
Needed to buy a compact camera for trip to Japan with reasonable picture quality because I don't want to carry a tone (DSLR + tripod + flash + batteries + etc) for so many days.
Been to the shops to try EPL1, EP2, GF1 and all of them have their own special features (e.g. gf1 with good and fast lens, EPL1 with a lot of filters that don't require post-production, EP2 with good EVF), after trying these few the sales introduced me to this GXR + P10 kit sets. And at the end I have bought this one.
Reason of buying: CHEAP!!!
Pay $4500 only and you get a good quality, compact camera with 10x lens with good pictures!!!!! You can't even buy the body of a M4/3 with this price, only NEX can match with this but there were no stock available when I needed. A second hand 10x zoom lens for M4/3 cost at least $6000 (i.e. way over $11000 for any M4/3 include the lens), or you can use DSLR lens with mount, but no Autofocus, which is rubbish when snap-shooting while traveling
