I needed a small and new MICRO 4/3 camera,
mainly to be used as a 2x extender for my Leica M lenses
50mm to 100mm tele
MICRO 4/3 had been wonderful to Leica M users ever since it is available,
it's only disadvantage is ISO noise at 400 up
The EPL2 has all the advantages and in my opinion is the best Micro 4/3 camera on the market now, I have just bought a GF-1 with pancake for my sister to learn photography, because GF-2 doesn't feel as good, and I regret buying it because 4 days later (JAN 7th),
OLYMPUS announced EPL2,
after reading it on the web, it is a no-brainer to go for it, and I ordered mine on 7th, and got it on 8th
I am also very happy with the new 100-300 tele lens (I have yet to receive) from Panasonic, and it shall be good on this camera too.
Micro 4/3 really is a wonderful alternative to serious photographers on the slim out-fit,
IN MY OPINION PHOTOGRAPHY SHALL BE A PART OF LIFE, AND FIT-IN TO ONES LIFE STYLE, THE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF ANY MICRO 4/3 CAMERA DOES THIS FINE, AND THE EPL2 IS THE BEST OF MICRO 4/3
DON'T FORGET THE PRICE TOO 4890 FROM BROADWAY IS A REAL BARGAIN !!

即使 KIT 鏡最大光圈只有 3.5 /f ，但在高 ISO 協助下，大部份環境基本都可以應付。
方便易用，很容易就出到滿意的照片。
外形討好，時尚。
屏幕亮麗(所以有時會被誤導)。

缺點:
寫入速度太慢，要想追住影(唔係連拍)就唔駛旨意。
右手邊穿頸帶0既金屬扣會頂住，有少少唔就手，所以我將右邊個三角扣除下，只穿手帶在左邊。

It's is my FIRST m4/3 body since I have used E-3 for few years.
Good performance of the control and the function of digital ART filters overall.
Optional VF-2 is a great help in manual focuing with 4X, 7X or 10X magnification ratio.
The kit lens 14-42 II with MSC and E-PL2 is a good combination of Olympus'
slogan saying " IT'S LOVE, IT"S PEN "
