- Light weight for a flag ship model because of no pentaprism
- Very well built quality
- Execellent hand held feel
- Auto WB and Auto Exposure are both very accurate
- Very good for video-taking. It's much better than Nikon and Canon in this aspect
- Although noise control on high ISO is much better than previous models, it still has some distance with Canon cameras.

- Weird outlook when I first saw it. Now it's better.
- The machine eats up more battery power because of the EVF. A vertical battery grip is a must for it.
- With its excellent quality, you cannot go without Zeiss Lens or G Lens.
- Less buttons and control dials than KM D7D, which I am still keeping because of its excellent body design.

This camera out passes other cameras with similar prices by offering a lot of extra features. Dual focusing systems, all time phase detection focusing on video recording mode, tiltable LCD screen, silent mode dial, full frame translucent technology with short shutter time lag and fair burst rate, AF range setting for all lenses, and What-You-See-is-What-You-Get real time shooting experience are all very good features you can find in the camera. With the excellent built quality, it can give me the confidence of taking pictures and video on any condition. If you are not a fan of any brands and be objective in comparing feature by feature and picture by picture, you will find that Sony has given you a worth-to-buy camera.

- ISO is not as good as D600 or 6D but is still sufficient (3200 可常用)

- too expensive ... but on another hand, it is on higher class than D600 or 6D. and A99 itself is a FF Camera worth $1XXXX + a FF video camera of $1XXXX

- shutter speed (6 FPS) is a bit faster than D600 & 6D but I don't understand why it is much slower than A77 & Nex 7, both over 10 FPS

- 半透鏡減光.....針冇兩頭利

- Sony lenses are getting more & more expensive and started to reach a unreasonable level, and Sony is missing less expensive FF lenses that are available from Canon & Nikon. One day, if I leave Sony, the prices of the lenses would like the main reason .....

I'm very happy with the performance & quality of A99

Some users doesn't like 電子觀景器, I respect their comments but it doesn't mean 電子觀景器 is worse than 光學觀景器, they are totally different ways of usage

成像質優色討喜，ISO可用度高
配合G鏡(無論係Minolta G or Sony G)或蔡鏡，質素毋庸置疑
有19個相位對焦點及102個輔助對焦點，可配合有AF-D
AF Range實用
EVF比其他alpha機好
終於支援雙插卡設計
峰值對影相同拍片都好用
拍片可以支援50p/50i (for PAL) or 60p/60i (for NTSC)

耐電量高
對焦點徧向中間
太少鏡support AF-D
沒有Wifi support
礙於歐盟關係，未能以Camcorder拍片，每段片長只有29分鐘

街價跌破二萬便入手，大部份功能都合符高階機水準
用EVF未必個個習慣，好處係資訊豐富，壞處係耐電
ISO同對焦速度都有進步
但AF-D支援未夠，希望儘快出firmware令全部鏡都能用AF-D

要習慣電子觀景器.

研究咗好耐, 終於鼓起勇氣由Canon轉去Sony , 整體感覺操控比5D3方便同快. 新機回來只用些小時間已可操控流暢. 個追焦真係好堅. 蔡司鏡出來效果又好靚. 因為有靜音按扭,從此 拍片冇晒D操控雜音. 睇來尼次Sony 真係可以用a99羸番晒返來了.

市場上獨特的產品，拍照及錄影雙強的機器。
獨有的AF-D (19點相位差感應器，102點焦平面相位差，相結合對焦方式) 提供更快速精準的對焦方式。
使用特種及貴價的多點分離式 低通滤鏡，最大限度保障了解析力。
只有快門的微弱震盪，沒有反光鏡的巨大震盪，機身還有防手震功能。

目前能用AF-D功能的鏡頭只有6支(好在其中最常用有24—70)，
其它的鏡頭要等到2013年春季才有軟件更新！
在影樓用一般的pocketwizard搖控elinchrom影樓閃燈，最高快門同步只能去到160份1秒，原因未明。A850 及A900 能同步速度 200份1秒。
在非動態攝影下,清晰度不及A850&A900 (ISO 200-400)。自動白平衡表現不及A850 A900.

外部直接的獨立功能按鈕，操控快速也直觀。
機身結實但輕巧，雙SD卡方便，閃燈腳座也換回更通用的方式。
半透鏡帶來的強勁準確連拍及錄影追焦能力，全天候防水滴機身。
前瞻的雙強拍照及錄影能力，帶領未來影像制作新路向。
用上廣播級高端專業型(多點分離式光學低通滤鏡)，對衡了半透鏡帶來的部份負面作用，還實質上令影像清晰銳利。
民用市場上最頂級的EVF(電子觀景器)，帶來弱光環境下 超越自然視力的觀景力。
用的時候，常忘記了是EVF,還以為是OVF!
新的CMOS對比前作A900 A850 在弱光下 有非常明顯的進步
