1). Optical viewfinder and Built-in flash too small and too close to len barrel, always block by len tube.

This is my all time favourite daily use camera even I own Sony R-1 and Nikon D200. It won't miss a shot in any event.
Although its outlook is not easily accept by most people but I am quite appreciate with this unusual design.
Getting a external flash (430EX at least) will give u very accurate and sharp flash shoot. Best mate to me when go gathering!
I am afraid G7 cannot extend the G series legend in term of handling (e.g. very small Grip) and function (e.g. rotatary LCD mon) .....Hoping future G8 will rectify the G7's loosing ground.

剛買。二手價硬($2200) 、但覺合理。手感好、比G2輕。室外相十分了得 - 顏色鮮艷、準、利、有層次、映花分分鐘令你流鼻血。又分分鐘靚過老友部D80。有得揮。
