I turn my lens hood backward to protect dust getting into the lens. Hope it work.
In normal situation you will get better pictures without VR.
When I use on my D300, it become 105mm-450 bonus!!!!

因爲用FULL FRAME機，輕輕地、平平地當是旅行鏡。大場面還是用返LB5、384等。
優點:
物有所值，以同等價錢及質素與其他牌子的比較，此鏡實在出色。

First of all, IT IS VERY PLASTIC but very light.
VR works great and it can produce sharper images than most entry level lenses.
AF-S is quiet and fast.
Great for traveling and hiking because of its weight.
BUT for that price, I rather buy 80-200mm AFD.
Remember, VR can replace tripod but it cannot replace fast aperture.

輕...易操作...速度...準確性...測光...我比4粒半星...250mm以下銳利...
缺點:
去盡300mm成像有ｄ散...糸致命的缺點...不過真系預左啦...天光鏡...不過又糸預左...

冇買錯...想分享下善用此鏡...小弟盡量不推盡到300mm...致多去到270mm...咁樣效果完全可以接受...小黑五之3/1价錢不到...有如此這般效果...夫復何求...
