如果與Nikon e鏡頭相比，重量確實重很多，不過，e鏡頭重腳輕的狀況，在G竟比較不會發生，但是，不管在遠距離拍攝，或是拍攝快速奔馳的火車，這顆鏡頭幾乎都能圓滿達成任務!!

Before using this lens, I only used the 300mm/F4. This 500mm provides very sharp images, even with a TC14E or TC17E. However, I sometimes found some blur when using TC17E. For the convenience with the Wimberley II head, I changed the plate with the short Wimberley foot already. I am not so strong to hold it for a long day. Tried to shoot for 15 minutes at flying birds and my hands were so tired.
