1. Very solid construction. Build quality is better than any kit lens offered by Nikon or Canon.
2. Sharp! I haven't seen a sharp kit lens since Nikon 28-80mm.
3. Smooth and well dampen zoom and focus ring.
4. OIS works as advertised.
5. Almost no distortion in wide end!!
6. CHEAP!!!!

I don't understand why so many people sell this lens. It is one of the best kit lens I ever seen! Solid construction, great design and QC. If you bought your GF1 with 20mm pancake (you should!), then you need this lens!!
