光學上的優異表現, 網上已有很多評測, 所以也不多說了。上手外影幾次, 鏡頭的確重量十足, 1.1KG 重量加上MF, 大約影半個小時要休息一下。本人是用SONY A7III , peaking 對焦加上放大算是容易。
對於喜歡聞相的用家, 此鏡定必要入手。事實上用上了此鏡後, 以前已覺得是鏡王級的鏡頭, 如ZEISS zf.2 1,4/35, ZEISS 100MP, LEICA 50 1.4 ASPH 和ZEISS 2/25 ZE 等等, 都覺得和OTUS 1.4/85 比較起來還是有明顯的落差。可見蔡司在此鏡上投入資源不少, 對於光學完美追求和不為市場妥協的態度, 並不只是口號。

鏡身好像並不防雨防塵, 在極端天氣下不宜使用。
另外, 習慣了此鏡的銳利度, 反差, 等水平, 會令你對其他大部份鏡頭失去興趣, 不知道這是不是一個缺點

近期價格回落到二萬三左右, 已是開始值的入手的水平。而此鏡由於解像力太強, 影MODEL時也要留意 一下, 因為所有臉部細節都纖毫畢現。

Write at the beginning: This is my first lens review. I have never done that before because none of the lens I owned before is prefect, even sel24f18za (24蔡). I have/had owned the following lenses:
Nikon 1 kit lens, Sony sel1650, sel1855, sel55210, sel1018, sel24f18za, sel18105g, sal1680, sal50f14, sel20f28, minolta beercan (70210 f4), Canon ef 24 1.4 L ii, 1735L 2.8, 1740 f4, 85L ii
Have/had owned the following cameras:
Nikon 1 V1(personal opinion: I hate Nikon), Nex 5R, rx100m2, a6000, rx100m3, a77, A7s, a7r2
1. My present gear is A7r2. I have tried the 85L2 on both my camera and Canon 5dsr. The sharpness below f4 sucks on both of them. Really sucks. Only this lens can satisfy sb who would like to shot at f1.4 and request for sharpness
2. MF is the best design! Why? It is hard to focus correctly with AF at f1.4, but it is easy to do so in MF. And you can enjoy photography with MF
3. A must buy portrait lens, regardless of the money
