The 2012 Pinot Noir Brauneberger Klostergarten *** offers a beautifully clear and pure, highly delicate, ripe and sweet but precisely focused fruit aroma on the nose intermixed with slate flavors. Full-bodied, highly elegant and perfectly balanced, this is an intense and juicy, perfectly ripe and balanced Pinot that you will never ever spit because it leaves you with a sense of wonder. This is one of the greatest Pinot Noirs I have tasted from slate in my life. It's so crystalline and delicate, but so intense and stimulating, that nothing should hinder you from buying this wine. It's not available in the U.S. though.
