I really don't understand why people still choose Canon. Canon's technology is always far more primative than Nikon regardless of its worse body handling. Canon still has no full-color RGB meters in any of its SLRs. Canon just started to have wireless flash on its entry DSLR (600D) while all Nikon's entry ones have long been having such option. Canon still doesn't have lateral color fringe correction on any of its DSLRs including their professional ones as what all Nikon's ones have now.

- Excellent build quailty, very soild feel;
- easy to use; all control buttons are well-placed and highly configurable (尤其是未有了5DII 極不 Professional 的 Exposure Mode Dial !);
- very fast - both AF speed and shutter;
- good high ISO performance, without any noticable noise even up to ISO1600;
- highly detailed image quality, its JPEGs were even sharper than 5DII (16MP in APS-H has, in fact, higher resoultion than 21mp in FF);

- not Full Frame ;
- color tone not as attractive as 5D II.

I changed from Nikon to Canon since EOS 1D Mk II N, switched to Full frame with the 5DII and now has switched back to APS-H with the Mk IV, the Mk IV is a top quality Professional camera that is as close to perfect as possible, well-shaped with excellent build quality and good ergonomics.

It has immense improvements in the followings :

- highly detailed image quality, esp. JPEGs - even sharper than 5DII;
- high ISO performance, no noticeable noise up to ISO1600;
- faster & more accurate AF.

7D 升做 1D4 有以下用後感:-

1. 頂級機, 多了41, 19, 11, 外9及內9點選擇, 方使構圖。
2. 沒有了QUICK MENU, 人都要Pro D。
3. 7D 快門"咑咑"聲, 1D4 快門"唃咯唃咯"的, 聲音較討好但震動較大。
4. 反應訊速, 一秒十真係交足貨, 密焦AF中焦率比7D高。
5. APS-H 同款鏡相片立體感質感比7D優良, 但noise方面7D好像控制得好一點點。
6. 配新鏡畫質喜出望外, 但配舊鏡有走焦問題。 同樣放在7D沒事。

之前用開7D+直倒, 升左級老婆都唔知。 仲讚個連拍好用。 : )
論畫質, 衡量各場合光源後5DII仍較佳, 但捕足唔到重要一刻畫質幾靚都冇用, 這是個人考慮重點。


個人評價: 5DII 畫質100分的話, 1D4 90分, 7D 75分啦 (可以聞得出來)。


睇慣CANON D 顔色同有一堆CANON鏡在手先唔轉會, 俾得咁既價錢真係有轉會去D3S衝動. 有Budget 既朋友, 不妨用佢+新鏡, 時代不同CANON應推出新鏡群了。

日子淺未發掘到.........................

我係第一次用1仔，由1D3 時已經想入手，但可惜我金錢有限..........同埋已經有5D，所以無入到。但到1D3停產前想入手........又受不到5DII 既魔力。

但我因為想映多d 生態，鳥類........但5DII無辨法滿足我，1D3已經停產無新貨........二手我又不想，因為呢d 機以快為主，快門一定有番咁上下，所以決定入1D4。

玩左日半，發覺旗艦機真係唔錯，快門聲，造工，双card槽，全天侯機種[不是5D and 7D可比]，我自己用5D, 5D2都不敢落住雨玩，1仔我見d記者朋友粗用風雨不改咁用，就明白Canon and Nikon D 旗艦機不是流........我會繼續用5D2及呢部1仔4。

如果不是鍾情FF既C hing不妨考慮一下！

快門聲比 1D3 柔軟少少, 都好好聽 ,沒有了 1D3 那種 振動機身的感覺

自動選擇對焦點 追蹤功能就得淡笑 亂甘跳 ! (D3S 果個正好多)

低光下對焦速度比 1D3 更快

M MODE 都有AUTO ISO (100-12800) , 從此 M MODE 不離手

做了 CF CARD 測試
Setting : M mode 影全黑 ISO 100 1/100s , F2.8 (FULL RAW 15.9 MB per file)
影第一張開始計時 直至紅燈消失

Extreme IV 16GB 連影 36 張 ‐ 成績大約係 16 秒

Extreme Pro 32GB 連影 40 張 ‐ 成績大約係 12 秒

手感極好，操作容易，最强的就是反應夠好,機身紮實
ISO range 相當闊 (ISO 50-102400)，noise control 比5Dll更好。
可卡與卡之間抄相,c fn選項都算幾元善,3吋MON像素高,
每秒10張的速度，影絕大多數 outdoor function 都好重要

電量的續航能力只可用"一般"來形容
不是 FF, 但這些對我來說最不怎麼重要。

I just wanna say those users shall not compare this brand new gear with 5DII. It is completely not fair as this is 1-Series.

1D mark iV is good but 5DII not really bad at all.

1D mark IV is APS-H but 5DII is FF gear ar!!
