優點:
- Unbeatable high ISO performance
- Solid Design
- 1/3 of the D3 price but having most of the D3 function but coming in a compact D300 type body. What other dream machine we can ask for more???

缺點:
- Not particularly against D700, but same thing happened on all other full frame camera as well. DUST SPOT on the sensor!!!! We need to keep an eye on the dust on sensor and have that clean on regular basis. But D700 comes with the dust removal function. NICE. Also we have Nikon Professional Service in Australia and we can have the sensor clean free of charge. So it doesn't sounds like a real 缺點 to me.
- Someone might be complaining about the weight of the camera. But come on, we are talking about a professional camera which can deliver excellent photo quality. I guess people complaining about the weight are not a real owner of the camera. If you are interested in the D700 photo quality, you will enjoy the weight. I am using the D700 with 24-70mm f/2.8. It makes it like a 2kg combo. I am happily shooting with it on daily basis.
- Again, someone might be complaining there are no picture mode including, Portrait, Landscape, Micro .... Again, COME ON :p You don't need this mode if you are already considering getting a D700. Be a real photographer and get out from the auto mode and shoot with the photographer eye and brain!!!
- I wish it can comes with more pixel but at the same time remaining the unbeatable high ISO performance. But it's a trade-off, the more the pixel = the less light sensitive on each pixel (look at 5D MII about high ISO and you can see the difference)... I guess it still a few more years to come before a real dream machine comes out with HUGE mega pixel but Excellent high ISO like what D700 doing now.
SERIOUSLY, besides the full frame sensor are more likely to attract dust, I really can't think of any real 缺點 on the D700. But the dust issue will be appearing on all full frame camera including D3, D3X, 5D MII .....

I am a photographer in Sydney. Although I only use the D700 for around 1.5 months, but I already shoot more than 11000 photos on my camera now.
I will highly recommand the D700 to anyone who are using Nikon DSLR before and looking for an upgrade. I was using a D80 and upgraded to D700 and leaving D80 as my humble backup camera.

The high ISO performance is unbeatable with it's competitor like 5D Mark II.
The dynamic range is very good on D700 under some difficult lighting environment. e.g. I shoot lots of cars at work. I can capture great details inside the car while some harsh sunlight coming through the window, D700 can keep the details in both the shadow and highlight area.
拍攝速度
Good example on the speed is it takes me around 5 hours to shoot around 700 car photos on my D80. But the same amount of photos it only required around 3.5 hours shooting time on the D700. I am seriously happy about this!!!

I like the size of the camera. I am around 5'10" tall asian guy. D700 fit perfectly in my hand. Also the leather trimming and metal make me feel really comfortable after prolong shooting time.
用電量
Being using the same battery as D80, the battery life improve around 20% on my D700.

2) 對焦屏可開関綱格，D3要更換對焦屏。
3) 有除塵。
4) 平D3 三分一。
5) 使用 MD-10 與高容量AA充電池，可提供比D3有更長電池壽命。
6) 有頂燈。
7) LiveView 對焦快。
8) info 按鈕很有幫助。

一部有 film 機味道嘅 digital 機。怏門回彈控制非常好。我在D3與D700一生交叉點中最後選擇了D700。

ISO 3200 非常可用, ISO 6400 可接受. 高ISO下光圈快門有很大彈性.
加上24-70後如虎添翼, 影景夠WIDE, 影人又有大光圈, 大部分相都可直出.
內置閃光燈.... 非常重要, 雖然很小用, 但必要時好過無.

我想要待Nikon D4或Canon 1D Mark IV 才可超越佢, 現時2仟萬像素仍受限於ISO, 要有高像素, 便得放棄高ISO值. 未算技術上突破. 將來應該還可以超越14bit, 例如16bit/18bit.外觀設計、功能、操作性能、影像質素和整體表現俱接近頂端.

Fine JPEG檔的size比Nikon D90還小,16GB Compact Flash 卡可影Fine JPEG 約5,000張!够用!
缺點:
少許重!沒有情境模式,對初學者而言會較難上手.
評價:
機身略重,但很有質感!在日本旅遊時使用,連日本佬都說這部機很PRO(專業)!

Pixel competition is non-sense but picture quality. More pixel means more time to do processing and need a more powerful PC. If you are not working in a studio and the output is not for enlarge printing. 12 M Pixel is more than enough.
