Apo-chromatic deviation (purple edge at high light zone and green edge at shadow zone) but you could hardly see it even if you zoom the picture in 100%.

This lens is supprisingly good. I had owned many types of lenses such as leica, contax, nikon, canon, antique lenses, etc. I found that this lens is outstanding in the image reproduction especially the colour. The colour is ture to actual colour or I can say 99% closed to nikon ED lens with proper explosure control and white balance, of course.
The quality of image is outstanding. Sharpness is just right (not too much). This lens would not turn a fresh flower into a withered flower or a plastic flower in the picture. Or, you take a picture with a girl. You would always make her skin look smooth in the picture but still see the texture of her hair.
Apo-chromatic deviation is the week point of this lens but hardly see it (in full open of aperture and in 12mm).
On conclusion this lens is good lens and is recommended.

平~~新鏡3xxx,二手2xxx,新舊鏡差不多,証明d人under某個位,另願唔放自己留用,
靚~~成象好,sharp,除了原廠,不二之選,
正~~外型好,又輕又方便.物料好.

濾鏡~~cpl slim, or uv(0) ,其中只可加一樣,二者一齊就有暗角.
重d,~~(但輕既,質素都係一般,邊有靚鏡唔重架,仲要貴一貴添.)

TA11-18~多彈少讚,
SI 10-20 Wide d,但唔sharp and色水比較淡.(si –我個人覺得,其他廠出乜,佢都要有,即係咩range都係有,確保市場地位,但不是支支出得好囉)借個朋友支玩一天...麻麻啦,又非平,
TO 11-16 暫時較貴(about 4千),怕易跌價,RANGE細,構圖煩,要靚唔要RANGE,不如定焦啦.

TO 12-24 range實用,構圖易,色水靚,外型好,保值,恆定f4都足夠用

2. 不易入塵：和其他廣角鏡相近，變焦時只是鏡頭前端入面作少許移動，鏡筒外部不會伸縮，因此大大減少入塵的機會
3. 造工扎實：即使使用了三年，用量甚高，除遮光罩變得殘舊外，鏡身轉變近乎零，粗用無問題
4. 質素不俗：拍攝出來的相片質素不錯，只要遵守安全快門來使用，出現鬆郁懞的機會不高
6. 對焦不俗：雖然沒有超聲波摩打，但對焦速度不算太慢。
7. 簡便手動：單掣前後式手動/自動對焦切換，使用方便

購買時考慮五支鏡：Sigma 12-24 (不能加CPL，亦不打算上FF，所以摒除)，Sigma 10-20 (焦距上未能與我的24-70標準鏡吻合，加上遠攝端光圈少了一級，i.e. 5.6，所以摒除)，Tamron 11-18 (焦距不配合，所以摒除)和Canon 10-22 (雖然質素好，但是太貴)，最後選擇此鏡。使用以來一直十分滿意，漸漸成為出遊用的主鏡，亦試過只帶此鏡遠遊(一鏡一機身不用直倒，總重約1kg)，影人影景影物一腳踢，全都能駕馭。
優點:
夠sharp, 恆定光圈，有手感，不易入塵，對焦都ok!
好像是made in Japan 的！

評價:
買了不久就去意大利玩，全靠佢夠wide，如果唔係，好多建築物也影不到。以$3300就買到直是超值！I love it!
