Why i bought this len ? Firstly and most importantly , thanks to my wife T.
(sorry i use present tense )
Back to the question , why i buy this len ? Just attend a friend's wedding , i bring 70200ii 5D3 to shoot photos for him , his camera man holding the 85mm F1.2 with Hood 60D whole day ....
1.that day , at night , in the restaurant , i have not bring the flash , and dun know why , the reastaurant is very dim . i failed to shoot even if i am using iso6400 and F2.8 , just dun know why ; but he can shoot normally . um.... aperture is the key
2. i sit alone with the camera man for a while and discuss , he has me to show him the photo i took , he look and say , sometime , no need to too clear for everything , the mood is the most important . He use "Mood" for the term Bokeh .
3. afterward, i search in the internet , and find those sample for 85 1.2 , and i have compare the sample between , 85F1.2 , 135F2 , and 70200ii 2.8 ; i find the 85mm f1.2 is very lovely , 135F2 , photos too too too compressed , 70200ii just not enough Bokeh , cannot isolate the object .
so , i buy this len ......( in fact , i have 50mm f1.8 ii , the bokeh ring is a pentagon .....)
缺點:
dun want to say it's expensive , heavy ..... many ppls know that.
1. i suggest you have to use a high end camera for this len .
I have a 40d for have try this len , the performance and focusing AF , just different from 5D3 . the case LOST focus happens in 40D quite often
2. i already focus and recompose in other lens , but this lens , i have test by trial and error , the conclusion is that , need to use AF point focusing . It is becauase the DOF is so thin that it can be easily lost while you recompose the photo , or i am wrong .
so , if using aperture 1.2 , should use AF point focus , 2.8 , 5.6 ...? focus and recompose is OK ....
評價:
it is a very professional portrait len , even though i am not professional.
- its lens , when you look into it , you can see a upside down image .
- the image it took , lovely , just what to say , it is beautiful .
- using aperture 1.2 on 5D3 using AF points , the focused object is very sharp . very sharp ,dun trust online ppls say : need to turn aperture to 1.4 , 1.8 ,2.0 for sharpness . Just use 1.2 , if you have this len , you know why .
........ to much to say ........ next time ......
