As a leisure photoshooter, I had bought a number of entry-level DSLR in the passing years. from D40X to A350, A550 to D5000 and eventually back to A33, I was impressed by the multi-function and high PQ ration of Sony DSLR. Before trying on the 1680z, I owned Tamron A16, sigma 24-70 DG and 50mm 1.8. I was a bit disappointed by their insipid colors but since I was a family, there is nothing I could do. Then a miracle happened- my wife bought me the1680 as X'mas gift. Both the lens' picture quality and my wife's generosity took me by surprise. I never expect a zoom lens could shoot vivid and sharp images but Carl Zeiss proved that I was wrong. Its color is incomparable with my previous lens~! Thank you Sony, Thank you my wife the almighty.

i was a Carl Zeiss user in contax age, this lens i used for one month then sell it, disapointed...
hope the full frame will launch ZA 28-85 F4 with compact and resonable price in future
if it built with 24mm, the lens will be bulky

1.焦段好-16-80mm，戶外使用比16-50mm那管，多了51-80mm這焦段，這焦段不算少用。
2. 發色好，顏色讓你看了，絕對不會討厭。
3. 重量輕。

1. sony後來調價，賣得太貴，希望能夠調回來。
2. 下一代希望直接鏡身上加裝SSM，讓對焦更快速。
3. 當使用AF，當誤觸手動對焦環，可能造成內部塑膠齒輪斷裂；這點有點設計不良。

我是看到焦段跟蔡司mark，先買小菜，之後在買a580配合這管，使用方面心得：這管在sony aps-c系統上，在室外使用幾乎無敵，其他16-50mm f2.8，雖然解析度比這管好，但發色跟焦段，比不上小菜。戶外照景色、連人帶景；或照跑動的小朋友的人像照片，分數都很高；小朋友跑來跑去經常使用80mm這個焦段，缺51-80mm，影響很大，所以戶外使用非常推薦16-80這管；室內使用的話，我就建議買sony 35mm f1.8定焦鏡，畫質會好很多。至於菜花問題，新出的鏡頭，就我使用1年，沒有這狀況，最近也沒有聽到；垂頭我認為不是問題，沒有設計lock每一管都會這樣子。

1 : 對焦慢 (一支高檔鏡竟然無ssm , kit lens都有sam啦......)
2 : 貴 (對我而言此鏡只係一支有T*塗膜鏡片o既kit鏡)
3 : 未有T*塗膜應有o既色彩表現
4 : 一支aps-c高階鏡 , 光圈葉竟然得7片仲要唔係圈形光圈葉
5 : 只要有filer 16mm都會有黑角 , 唔理你咩slim都好 , cpl + filer 一齊用係無可能

首先 ,
呢支鏡個range係好奇怪 ,
所以無可能要求恆定f2.8 ,
這樣豈不是會比支全片副2470z仲貴?
sony無可能將aps-c鏡放太多本錢我能理解
所以呢個唔係缺點 ,
而且支鏡只for aps-c機 ,
技術sony係唔會方太多落去 ,

but

如果唔係T*塗膜加持 ,
支鏡就只係一支正常光圈/大range/連ssm/sam都無o既kit lens
結果我5k買支有T*塗膜 o既 kit lens

而家唯一令我安慰d 就只有對家機無o既zeiss小藍牌...........

如果係真係好中意玩zeiss , 請你將廣角蔡同中焦蔡分開買
無鏡係可以一步到位 , 別期望呢支1680z 比到正比收穫你
