- The tube can get loose after normal use and will fall slowly when you are carry the camera
- The aperture changes too fast, 3.5F is only on 16mm...

- Is APS-C only cannot bring it to FF :(
- You will get addicted to Zeiss

I use A55, this is my 4th lens. I brought 2 kits lens: 1. DT 18-55 2. DT 50-200 3. 50/1.4. After using this all my Kit lens I feel is rubbish. Even my 50/1.4 I feel a little unsatisfied because I love the sharp and color the Zeiss lens give me. Don't buy it if you don't want to be addicted. But if you don't buy Zeiss Lens, then why use Sony DSLR lei... use Canon or Nikon better la. You will get every single dollar you pay for if you get this lens. Being number 1 lens in DCFEVER cannot be false gei!

1. 成像質素佳，解像力及抗眩光力強。
2. 等效焦距24mm - 120mm，範圍實用。
3. 頗輕身，而鏡身仍算札實。

1. 無SSM鏡身摩打，機身摩打較嘈及慢，但尚可接受。
2. 廣角端之暗角需要留神。
3. 蔡味不足，有虛名之感。

用了此鏡十個月有多。
基本上相當實用，有廣角影景，亦有遠端影人，十分常用。
價格較高的DT鏡，有相當部份是因為蔡司之名。
基本上只比16105好一點，是否值得則見仁見智。

等待傳聞中的SAL DT 16mm - 80mm f/2.8-3.5G SSM。

1) Lens tube was made of plastic.
2) Still a bit heavy and unbalanced for A33.
3) The image quality allures you to purchase more Carl Zeiss lens :P

As a leisure photoshooter, I had bought a number of entry-level DSLR in the passing years. from D40X to A350, A550 to D5000 and eventually back to A33, I was impressed by the multi-function and high PQ ration of Sony DSLR. Before trying on the 1680z, I owned Tamron A16, sigma 24-70 DG and 50mm 1.8. I was a bit disappointed by their insipid colors but since I was a family, there is nothing I could do. Then a miracle happened- my wife bought me the1680 as X'mas gift. Both the lens' picture quality and my wife's generosity took me by surprise. I never expect a zoom lens could shoot vivid and sharp images but Carl Zeiss proved that I was wrong. Its color is incomparable with my previous lens~! Thank you Sony, Thank you my wife the almighty.

兩年被Sony的LiveView自動對焦及活動LCD MON所吸引而買入a350，一直以為自己買錯機，用過副廠鏡王的24-70mm F2.8 EX-DG 及30mm F1.4。一直未如理想，直到年多前買入細菜作比較後才知道自己無買錯Sony。她的色彩真的很鮮艷 , 我朋友用C記向我講色彩暗淡 , 未用此鏡前我都唔覺 , 用了細蔡後就特別覺 . 所以我部a350沿用至今，覺得當年同C/N比較，果然無揀錯 , 到現在的a55v及a580年代更不敢想像。這鏡頭真的令Sony APS-C相機如虎添翼。
本人並無藍牌效應的，我只是被她的質素所吸引，才推薦給各位的。
影出靚相才真正自豪....因自己用的是Sony...即Minolta. (好多人都唔知...哈哈)
