加多支wide( e.g. 10-22 / 12-24 ) 鏡用就perfect喇

Like the longer focal length sometimes for portrait and slightly longer reach when only got one lens.

Very versatile and can get quite close (of course not quite MACRO)

24mm distortion is very bad - can't do straight line in confined area - in fact I shoot with the DOT LINE between 24 - 35mm - maybe like 25-26mm.

This lens seems to have improved with the latest 5D II.

I am completely in love with it now that the corners are controlled by the 5D II and no more people telling me to tune the files with PS post-production.

That is why I only would use 24-70mm with the original 5D.

(1) range is very useful
(2) IS is very useful, and really workable.
(3) The price is acceptable, cheaper than 24-70mm which did not have IS.
(4) The size and weight is okay.
(5) provide善意的味精.

I personally cannot find any.

我主要用此鏡影人，我發覺此鏡能將人的面影得〝白裡透紅〞，極靚的效果，你根本無需叫model化裝，在outdoor，效果更顯著。我用non L Canon Lens影人，絕無此效果。

除左價錢貴小小同光圈細左小小, 總括來講, 呢支鏡真係正!

- 成像和色水很好
- 鏡身紮實
- 有IS
- 對焦蠻快

- 暗位有時對焦有點困難
- F4 光圈，有時未必夠用
- IS 開啓時頗食電

此鏡質素絕對OK，
如果用在1.6x crop 機時，
24mm 未必夠wide，(38.4mm)
但Tele 位有105mm, 相當於168mm,
絕對夠平常用，
如要買此鏡時應考慮是否能接受此廣角程度，
否則的話應考充慮crop 機用的鏡頭。

買入此鏡的決定是因本身已買入10-22mm，
再配合此鏡就有一段很好的焦段，
(相當於 16- 168mm)
及有更佳的影像質素

去旅行帶此鏡頭，已經可以一鏡走天涯。

如果是2.8光圈就無敵！

用了一年多，覺得沒有買錯。
